If you are a dividend investor you might think that choosing the highest dividend yield stocks is the best strategy. But choosing companies based just on their dividend yield isn't enough.

In this video, I'll look at the top ten highest dividend yields of the ASX200 and determine whether they are actually good investments for income investors or not.

I'll show that it's not enough to just have a high dividend yield, you also need dividend consistency, and growth, and the company stock price also needs to be growing over time.

A good dividend yield can be great, but only if the other components are there as well.
