In this video, I am cooking Tonkatsu (Japanese style pork cutlet). This is not an easy dish and it does take more than 30 min to make, but it is definitely worth the time. I am also showing how to make an alternative Tonkatsu sauce using Ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. If you make it more than for that day, you can also make Katsu-don (Rice bowl with Tonkatsu) with the leftover on the next day, which is also very delicious.

Ingredients for Tonkatsu
Pork (preferably loin or fillet) 1-2 pieces
Flour approx. 2 Tbsp
Egg 1
Panko (Japanese breadcrumbs) approx. 1 cup
or
Bread (preferably baguette)
Alternative sauce for Tonkatsu sauce
- Ketchup 3 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 Tbsp
- Soy sauce 1/2 Tbsp
- Vinegar 1/2 Tbsp
- Sugar 1/2 Tbsp
