Half of Jamaicans are either skipping meals or eating less due to food insecurity, a 2023 United Nations report has found, and a further 10% will go at least one day a week without eating at all. What is the solution to this food crisis?

Our Ambassador, Nicholas Kee, has found a community-based solution. His organisation, Kee Farms, trains fisherfolk to set up and run their own ocean farms, which harvest seaweed and other nutritionally dense biomass to feed the community.
