The increasing impact of climate change might feel like a losing battle sometimes. We are seeing an increase in floods, droughts, extreme weather, rising sea-levels and lifeless fields, resulting in more geopolitical conflicts and poverty.

World leadership is failing, but the young generation of leaders are determined not to let them. In the words of One Young World Ambassador Mavis Durowaa, “hope is not a luxury that [we] can afford not to have”.

We went to COP28 to follow what our cohort of young leaders are doing to fight climate change within their fields of expertise. They are leading the fight against climate change and raising their voices to make change happen. Meet the people fighting heart and soul to protect our planet and the survival of humanity.
