Is it doubling up if you have the same stocks within your portfolio as in an ETF that you own?
In this video, I'll run down the companies I have in my investment portfolio that I own as single stocks and are also in VHY. As I'm a dividend investor, it's very likely that I'm going to hold some companies that are also in funds that I have.
I'll also talk about why this doesn't both me as an investor, and what I would do if I decided I didn't want to have the same stocks anymore. Would I prefer to get rid of the ETF or the single stocks?
Happy investing,
Tracey
