In this video, Dr. Osborne and Sally K. Norton, MPH discuss the importance of understanding the potential risks of certain dietary choices.

Oxalate is a substance found in certain foods that can be harmful to our bodies if we consume too much of it. Different people have different tolerances for oxalate, so it's hard to measure exactly how much is too much for each person. However, we know that consuming a high amount of oxalate can be fatal, like in the example of eating too many rhubarb leaves.

The time it takes to heal from oxalate-related issues can vary for each person, but some people start feeling better within a few days of starting a low-oxalate diet.
