Continuing to analyse the different companies within the sectors of the Australian stock market, let's do the financial sector next.

The financials sector mainly consists of banks, insurance, mortgage lenders, and financial companies and also includes ETFs and REITs.

Looking at the dividend yield and five-year returns, I'll pick the top three companies and the top three ETFs from this sector with a market capitalisation of over $1 billion.
