Uncharted marked a huge shift for Naughty Dog. In my estimation, it was their first foray into what could be branded as "adult entertainment." Not like… THAT, but you know, in the literal sense of the words. Entertainment, meant for those over the age of 18. Its goal was to tell a more mature story, with darker themes, romance, wit, and even… "COMEDY" [CLIPS] All told, the game was… Ok. It was clearly a new thing for the team and despite their best efforts there were a lot of problems. However, as I'm sure you know by now, Naughty Dog eventually figured it out and were able to put out some of the most critically acclaimed titles ever released under the banner of "Uncharted."
This video is the first in a series of critiques and analyses on the Uncharted Series. I'll be going through every game in the franchise, even Lost Legacy, which even Naughty Dog seems to want to bury (something which I'll discuss at length in that game's video). However, until then, subscribe if you want to see the videos when they launch and support me on Patreon if you'd like them to be made
