This week we're back down in the south Texas brush country bowhunting javelina along the US/Mexico border. Javelina are interesting little critters that look similar to wild hogs but are actually a completely different genus. They have a scent gland on their back and smell a bit rank which earns them the name skunk pig. Because of that smell, most folks think they're wild game not fit to eat but I'm out to prove that wrong in this catch clean cook bowhunting vid. My buddy Damon is hunting with his Bear recurve bow and I'm hunting with a fire hardened hickory longbow I made in a bow building video a while back. We'll be hunting by spot and stalk through the prickly pear flats of the desert.

Don't forget to subscribe to the channel. We're uploading a new video each week that features one of the following topics: archery, bow hunting, bow building, survival skills, bushcraft, self reliance, primitive skills, primitive bows, hunting, camping, fishing, and a lot more!
