What's up guys Joe here with Episode 7 of my #prelude series.
In today's episode I will be preparing the prelude for winter. Now I am a firm believer in a car is meant to be driven not stored away just bc the weather isn't ideal with that being said I #ceramic coated the prelude just over a year ago and haven't done much maintenance to it
so today's video will be more of a how I prepare a vehicle that's already in great condition for the winter Elements. In next weeks episode of Detailing with Joe I will be a car that isn't in great condition and will need a lot of work to get it ready for winter.
I will be using the 2 bucket method along with a foam cannon
Starting with rinsing down the wheels and wheel wells
After each wheel has been clean and rinsed I'll move to rinsing off the car, be very thorough with your rinse..
As you can tell by the water breeding the prelude already has a great layer of protection and just needs a boost
against the Elements so not much "work" needs to be done.
After a good rinse next up is the foam Cannon now this step isn't necessary if you're using the 2 bucket method but as a pro caution more lubes the better!
This is why I love ceramic coatings the water beeding is phenomenal and almost memorizing to watch
