The prelude has been having some issues with the transmission, it started with a noise and now it's stuck in a gear so join me as take apart the prelude and figure out what's going on!

First im going to jack the car up, always remember to be safe and never work under your car only using the jack,
Next ill disconnect and remove the battery.
If you're a prelude fan you'll notice the Weapon R intake from good ol ebay! when I got my first prelude 10 years ago and was online looking for parts I always wanted one of those.
Next ill remove the intake. Keep in mind were vacuum lines easy tip just take a few photos where each line goes if you're aren't to sure.
Just working my way down next ill remove the shift linkage. First hop in the car and throw it in reverse. There's a cotter pin sandwiching 2 washers the metal washer goes first then a plastic washer remember that when you go to put this back together.
Technically you could disconnect the bolts holding the slave cylinder and line and keep this all together but I will be replacing the slave cylinder so I'm going to disconnect it from here and leave the hard line & slave on.

Next i disconnected the backup light switch these just pull off and ill disconnect the starter cable
and transmission ground.
Now working my way down we'll need to remove lower ball joint, I will be replacing that and ill straighten out the dust shield, ill take the bottom fork off and this radius rod off.
We'll Drain the transmission fluid
And remove both axles and haft shaft.
Keep in mind the haft shaft bolts are special bolts.
While we're down there we can disconnect the rear engine bracket.
the intake stay mount, clutch cover center beam there's 3 bolts on the rear engine mount as well.
Put a jack under the transmission and lift it just enough to remove the pressure on the transmission mount
Now we can take the transmission bolts off and take the transmission out.
Now I messed up here guys and should of used the jack to support the engine or use a engine support so don't me like me and keep that in mind if you have to do this job.
Using some brake cleaner and rinse less wheel wash im going to spay down and clean the transmission housing and prep it for paint.
While the transmission paint is drying well inspect the clutch and flywheel.
I'm still new to engines, transmission and overall cars so I'm not 100% sure if the clutch disk should have wear around it like this
While taking off the pressure plate and clutch bolts I noticed there was no loc tight.
