The De Winton’s golden mole, lost to science for 87 years, has been rediscovered in Port Nolloth, South Africa. The team of researchers from the University of Pretoria and the Endangered Wildlife Trust who made the discovery was led by conservation manager Cobus Theron. They ignored experts who said the mole was lost, only to find several of the elusive creatures and confirm their existence. Watch the video to see these moles for yourself!
