Celebrity red carpet moments are things that a lot of us live for! But when you get the behind the scenes of what all goes into these award show looks, it’s not as glamorous.

We’ll just say this: the glam process takes some serious work (and sometimes a little bit of pain).

But it seems like a lot of our favorite celebrities are up for it. There are some Met Gala pre-glam moments that include celebrities getting laser nose hair zapping treatments before hitting the red carpet and judging by the sound of that alone, it can’t be a pretty experience. That same celebrity also received red LED light therapy and an oxygen infusion treatment that same day.

There are other celebrities who receive Botox before an event, but not in their face. It’s funnier if we just let you guess where, though. Not to mention that other celebrities literally have to be sewn into their dresses.

But then there are other celebrities who use pretty genius red carpet hacks to prepare for stepping in front of tons of cameras. Some use shoe lifts and the technique of standing a little bit closer to the photographers to make themselves appear taller. And other celebs opt for wearing jeggings under long fluffy gowns to avoid getting too cold during events that take place during colder seasons.

Either way, these hacks work well and had we not known about these hacks, we would’ve been completely fooled.
