Full review of the 2023 Cupra Born in 170kW 77kWh e-Boost trim, including performance, handling, ride quality, interior, technology and boot space.

The Cupra Born is a new small electric hatchback that is rear-wheel drive. It is available only with a 170kW (228 hp) / 310Nm single motor in Australia and a 77kWh usable battery pack for 511km claimed range WLTP.

The Born will compete with other entry-premium EVs like the Tesla Model 3 and Polestar 2, plus the forthcoming Volkswagen ID3. It is priced from $59,990 before on-road costs and before EV incentives.
