After a series of middling Spider-Man games, Activision handed Spider-Man's development over to Beenox. Activision tasked Beenox with rejuvenating the Spider-Man franchise with new ideas. Their new idea was to create a Spider-Verse game, featuring Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, Amazing Spider-Man, and Ultimate Spider-Man in the symbiote suit. This idea would actually inspire writer Dan Slott to create a comic series titled "Spider-Verse," which itself went on to inspire the movie "Into The Spider-Verse."

In the game, our 4 Spider-Men must work together to stop Mysterio from claiming all the fragments of the Tablet of Order and Chaos. To reclaim the tablets fragments, we're taken on a journey through various levels, each featuring it's own villain.

Always Nerdy is a Youtube channel dedicated to all things nerdy and Marvel, with a focus on Marvel Gaming properties such as Marvel's Avengers and the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series. Retrospectives are a new series I've started, so more are on the way as well!
