Once per year, I'll do a portfolio rebalance, which is more like a portfolio review in that I check that all the companies I invest in are still on track with my investment goals.

Generally, I'm looking to ensure that the dividend yield I'm receiving is till good and that the price hasn't drifted too much.

While I don't always change things when I rebalance, in this video, I'll go over the more common asset allocations to aim for when doing your own portfolio rebalance.

Whether you want to make sure that all your investments are evenly weighted, or that you hold more of those companies that give you higher gains, there are different ways that you can spread out your investments based on your risk profile and the types of assets and companies that you want to invest in.
