We had such a fun extended 4th of July weekend with family and friends at the lake house! There were parades, campfires, fireworks and lot’s of lake time… and Even a trip to the ER! Sometimes things don’t go as planned! 🎆 COMMENT BELOW👇 if you have any 4th of July traditions!

For Father’ Day weekend, Shaun took Pais with hime to Idaho for a little father/daughter time and to spend some time with his dad who cant travel much anymore. They had the WORST LUCK with air travel, but seemed to finally make it there after hours of delays! They spent time with family, and took a couple day trips to see waterfalls and drove up into Island Park and Nevada City, Montana! So pretty! Paisley came back telling me how much fun she had and that she's ready to go back again! ❤️

I headed to the lake early to prepare for everyone coming for 4th of July weekend. We got some surprise visitors…aka Kamri and Rylan who decided to come at the last minute making a total of 22 people st the lakehouse and six dogs! On DAY ONE we already had an injury… Kamri hit her head doing a backflip off the boat and it was bad enough that our doctor friend recommended we go in to tge ER and make sure she didn’t have a concussion and to stitch her up. 🏥 Luckily everything was ok, only a few stsples, but yikes that was a scary way to start the weekend!

After the 4th, Dax had to drive Dax vack to Dallas for a week long church camp. Several of his friends were going, so he didn't want to miss it. It’s fun to see what he gets the most excited about when it comes to his camps. He comes back soon so I can't wait to hear about it, we missed having him the last few days.

The rest of the time we spent with old family friends from Utah going to the small local parade, BBQing, tubing, singing campfire songs and watching fireworks! It was seriously such a great time for our first time doing the 4th of July at the lake! We will definitely keep doing this and make it a new family tradition!
