We left for California on a Wednesday, just to ensure we were not cutting things too close. (With destination weddings, things get much more complicated because you just can't stop by the house and pick something up in case you forgot, and are unfamiliar with the area in case you do forget something!)

Kamri flew in on Thursday as did most of our families. It was SO GOOD to see everyone! Thursday afternoon was the wedding rehearsal and later that night was the rehearsal dinner. Dakota's family did a great job putting that all together! It was fun to meet all of his siblings, spouses, and extended family for the first time.

The day of the event was full of nerves, mostly for Dakota! Brooklyn was definitely ready! She was absolutely stunning in her dress, and we knew Dakota was going to be emotional. Shaun's first look with Brooklyn was super sweet, as was Brooklyn's with Dakota. Then we took wedding, bridal and groom party photos, as well as extended family photos, before it was time for the ceremony. We did not show any of the ceremony here.

After the wedding, we proceeded down to the reception/dinner party. It was a stunning venue all around, with plenty of food and dancing! Things couldn't have been more perfect!
