This would be a sign of a possible slab leak, you have water coming out of the slab underneath the house where there is no reason for there to be water pulling up. It is coming out of a crack from the house, typically that could be signs of water leaking from pipes underneath the slab.
Another thing to look for trying to figure out if you have a slab leak is water inside the house coming out of walls underneath cabinets out of cracks in the tile. Generally this happens in areas close to plumbing such as bathrooms or kitchens and laundry room and what you will notice is water coming out of crack underneath walls because the leak is under the slab and is surfacing through floors and cracks in flooring. If the water is hot then you are dealing with a hot water leak.
Another symptom of slab leaks is hot floors. It is easier to determine if you have a tile floor rather that carpet because there is no insulation. If you have a hot water slab leak, which happens 80 to 90 percent of the time, the heat from the slab leak and heats up the concrete in the subfloor of the tile then heating the tile. If the tile is heated only in one specific spot and the rest of the tile is cool that is a good indication of a hot water leak.
Another way to determine if you have a hot water leak is your water heater. If your water heater is running 24 hours per day this is not good. If you empty your water heater and refill it with cool water, it should take about an hour to heat up. Normal daily water use will trigger the water heater to run for about 15 to 20 minutes and then stop running. But if it is running constantly then you have a flow of water going out and a flow of water coming in all the time, the water heater is constantly running to keep up with the demand of a broken pipe in the slab causing a leak.
