Tips for making an amazing charcuterie board!

1 - Key ingredients include cured meat (charcuterie), cheese, veggies, fruit, something salty, something sweet, and bread/crackers/chips.

2 - Prep everything so guests don't have to do much - remove the rind from cheeses (if necessary, depends on type of cheese), cut cheese into appropriate shapes, slices fruits and veggies into easy-to-eat pieces, separate sliced meats (so that they don't need to be peeled apart).

3 - Think about how many people you will be serving and decide how much of everything to prepare based on that. Perhaps prep a bit extra of a few things in order to easily replenish the board as things are eaten.

4 - Find great quality products! Depending on where you live, it may be hard to find good quality products. iGourmet is a great solution for this! Use seasonal produce if possible - it will be fresher and more delicious!

5 - Have fun with this and make your board pretty! Play around with layout, how you prep meats/cheeses/veg/fruit (do a variety of shapes of slices/cubes/etc.), and use small containers for jam/honey/pickles/olives.

6 - Be unique! A charcuterie board is a great place to mix and mingle, and what better topic of discussion than a charcuterie board and what is on it! Food is always a great thing to talk about when meeting new people or reuniting with old friends or family members.
