Ingredients:
Cake :
All purpose flour (maida) - 1 and 3/4 cup
Baking powder - 1 and half tsp
Salt - half tsp
Corn starch - 2 tbsp
Butter - 1 cup (170gm)
Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
Egg - 3
Lemon zest - 1 and half tbsp
Warm milk - half cup
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp


Lemon Syrup :
Fresh lemon juice - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup

Lemon Glaze :
Lemon juice - 1 and half tbsp
Powdered sugar - 1 cup

Note:

Bake at 160°C with the fan on (convection mode) for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick or a knife comes out clean. I am using an aluminium foil pan (9×16 cm) for baking. If you are using a bigger baking mold, the baking time will be more. If you don't have a fan function, increase the temperature to 175°C.
