I have always been a roguelike fan. There is something about these games that keeps me coming back again and again. I have had a lot of time to think about these games and I finally decided to make a comprehensive video talking about roguelike design trends explaining why this genre is so cool, and a bit underrated in my opinion.

This video takes a critical look at progression systems in roguelikes, to explain the systems that drive the player’s power.
