Got contacted by Navtec Expeditions again about one of their vehicles having another issue with a front axle. So they had a spare axle housing we took in just in case we couldn't repair the one in the vehicle. Once getting out there we decided swapping the entire housing out was the quickest and easiest option. Then we could drive the vehicle out and back to town. Things went rather smoothly and we made great time considering the recent flooding had damaged the highway adding an extra hour drive time to get out there.
