After returning Atreus back home and heading for bed, they are both quickly awakened back out of bed to the presence of Thor. He welcomingly invites himself in with the offer of mead. Upon talking to Kratos, Odin knocks on the door offering peace in exchanged that Atreus stops his search for Týr. Kratos refused. Enraged, Odin summons Thor to attack Kratos. Thor considers this payback known as a "blood payment" for the death of his sons Modi and Magni. Once Kratos finally knocks out one of Thor's teeth, Thor considers the payment "paid."
