Mods in The Division 2 are items that can be attached to weapons, gear, and skills to improve their stats or add new abilities. There are three types of mods in the game: weapon mods, gear mods, and skill mods (attachments)

Weapon mods can be attached to the barrel, magazine, muzzle, optic, and underbarrel of weapons. They provide a variety of bonuses, such as increased damage, accuracy, stability, and reload speed. However, weapon mods typically also have a drawback, such as decreased rate of fire, recoil increase, or reduced magazine size.

Gear mods can be attached to masks, backpacks, chests, gloves, and kneepads. They provide a variety of passive bonuses, such as increased health, armor, damage resistance, and skill power. Gear mods do not have any drawbacks.

Skill mods in The Division 2 are items that can be attached to skills to improve their stats or add new abilities. Each skill has three to five mod slots, and each mod slot can only be equipped with one mod.

Mods can be obtained through looting, as perks when spending SHD tech at the Quartermaster, or by constructing them from blueprints. Blueprints can be found by looting or by purchasing them from vendors.

To equip a mod, open your inventory and select the item you want to mod. Then, click or press the "Mod" button. A list of all the mods you have unlocked will appear. Select the mod you want to equip and click or press the "Equip" button.

Mods are a great way to customize your build and playstyle in The Division 2. Experiment with different mods to find the ones that work best for you.
