💡Yeast mainly acts as leavening agent for most types of bread and donuts too which results dough to rise and gives a soft, fluffy & sometimes chewy texture to breads/donuts.

But what if there’s NO YEAST? What would be the outcome of the bread/donut?

📌First, dough will not definitely rise for bread/donut recipes without yeast.

📌Second, dough is denser which results to a firmer texture of bread/donut once baked or cooked but good thing is it is still soft, yummy, & easier to make😊 (But note that its softness is not much comparable to the softness of yeasted donuts)

NO YEAST DONUTS
✔️Ingredients
1 cup [240 ml] milk (fresh or evap)
1 tbsp [15 ml] lemon or calamansi juice
1 tbsp [15 ml] veg. oil
3 tbsp [38 grams] sugar
2 & 1/2 cups [320 grams] all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
*cheese for filling or any desired filling (optional)
