In today's installment of the e36 build series, I attempt to fix a mysterious rattle / squeak on my e36 convertible. e36s, e46s, and even e90s and newer BMWs are notorious for developing scary noises out of nowhere, and it's always difficult to diagnose a car noise you can't quite locate. Today, we dive into my BMW e36 328i's cooling system and serpentine belts to fix a squeak/rattle. Will it work? Who knows.

Things we cover in this video:
- Draining / flushing the radiator and block to remove coolant from the e36
- Tearing down the serpentine belts + cooling system so we can rebuild it
- Rebuilding the e36 cooling system with all new, metal parts (new thermostat, aluminum thermostat housing, all metal water pump)
- installing new belts, pulleys, and tensioners on the front of the M52
- bleeding the cooling system (notoriously difficult on e36 BMWs, and I share a quick tip for bleeding the system without overheating your e36/e46!)

I hope you enjoy this installment of the e36 build series :) if you have a mystery noise coming from your car, I hope this is somewhat helpful.
