So a rather long video, so please bare with it but one that tells the tale of my heel pain(plantar fasciitis) and the most likely cause of it.

After detailed analysis & record keeping of how the foot felt after runs, stenches and other methods of rehab I worked a few things out.

Long story short - I naively blamed the heel pain on the lack of heel cushion, but clearly way too simplistic. More space was the key.

I am really glad to say I am back in the Altra @altrarunning as they just work so well, especially the superior. I was always afraid to take the 20mm shoe out for too long as assume not enough cushion, wrong again. A fantastic shoe for those who want ground feel, space and a light feel.

So, happy to say the heel pain is not at only 5-10%, compared to 20-30% in the mornings … all Morton’s neuroma issues gone, knees good and feet 🦶🏼 generally all good to go!
