The Initiative on Islam and Medicine seeks to instill hikmah (wisdom) in healthcare. As a community, our healthcare needs will be unmet if our clinicians and community members aren't sure how to confront the challenges we face. With research driven policy changes, we can help create and foster a culturally sensitive healthcare system. II&M brings together religious scholars and experts to make sure the community is well taken care of by helping educate clinicians and by creating community health projects to ensure our needs are met.
