The Icon of Sin is likely one of the most recognisable enemies in the entire Doom Series. The Doom Slayer encountered it in Doom 2, it was also discovered in Final Doom, Doom II RPG, Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal. Despite its fall, it always seemed to come back.

Throughout the series, this creature went by many names. The Dark One, Baphomet, The Final Boss and The Champion of Champions to name a few. But just how much power did it wield? How was it created? and how was it used by other entities to fulfil their goals? In this video, I explore the lore and story behind the Icon of Sin in Doom.
