I review, breakdown and explain the Shogun Episode 9 Trailer. I react to the ending scene of the preview which is focussed on Mariko looking to leave Osaka with the hostages that Lord Ishido had. I discuss if it will lead to Mariko’s death and what it means for the character. I compare it to the real history, the 1980’s series and the novel. I also give my theories and predictions on John Blackthorne’s reaction, Yabushige’s betrayal and episode 9.
