The @ASICSEurope Superblast is a daily training shoe that veers towards faster and longer efforts. The midsole combines FF Blast Plus - the same foam found in the Novablast 3 and Magic Speed 2 - and FF Blast Turbo, Asics' speed-focussed cushioning used in the Metaspeed Sky +. That mix of materials aims to deliver a cushioned and responsive ride across a range of training sessions.
The Novablast 3 is a daily running shoe designed to combine plenty of cushioning and comfort with a versatile ride. The latest version sees FF BLAST Plus midsole foam added to lower the weight and improve responsiveness, features a thin tongue wing construction to improve the fit, a more supportive heel design, a Jacquard mesh upper for breathability and an AHAR outsole to improve durability.
Tom has been testing the shoes out to see how they compare over different runs, and if it's worth investing in the considerably more expensive Superblast.
