In this video I will be melting down scrap aluminum ingots and turning them into a solid metal sprinkled donut. I started with a 3D model of a spinkled donut and made a mold of it in casting sand. I then melted down some scrap aluminum in my backyard foundry and poured the molten metal into the mold. After the metal cooled, I removed the sprues and sanded down the donut for a nice even finish.
