Not all A-C joint separations need to be treated surgically. In this video, you will see a gentleman who had a motorcycle accident and had a severe AC joint separation. With progressive rehabilitation, scapular strengthening, rotator cuff strengthening, and ultimately functional retraining he was able to regain full range of motion and strength.
