At the end of 2023 was an end of an era; as with the release of Survivor Series 2023, it was the end of the line for WWE & physical media releases. Starting in 1985 under the Coliseum Home Video label, the then WWF released VHS'(until 2005), Betamax's(until 1992), Laderdisc's(the 1st 4 releases in 1985), DVD's(starting in 1999), & Blu-Ray's(starting in 2008) to the masses. Between 1985 & 1997 it was under the Coliseum label, later WWF Home Video from 1998 until the name change in 2002, then WWE Home Video from the name change in 2002 until December 2023. This video will be covering the history of WWE in the physical media market; starting with the Coliseum Home Video line, the WWF Home Video line, ending with the WWE Home Video line.
