I did this subject back last November when I talked about Survivor Series; so I decided to do one on the Royal Rumble as well. The term "card subject to change" is a term used in combat sports & pro wrestling; where at any time for any reason the card for a show can be changed from what it was originally. The term is used that way promotions can skate past allegation's of false advertisement. And over the years at the Royal Rumble, there has been a ton of changes to cards; whether it be Rumble participants being changed, participants in regular matches being changed, even cases of matches being scrapped all together. I did the research, no rumored changes, just official changes to stuff at the Rumble; confirmed either through television, poster, old Rumble previews/programs, etc. Started at the beginning when Demolition/Killer Bees was scrapped from 1988, ended with Rey Mysterio being taken out of the 2023 match, & everything in between; some well known ones(Andre The Giant in 1991, Bret to Piper against Mountie, Lo Down to Drew Carey, etc.) & some not well known ones(Max Moon vs. Terry Taylor?). This is the list of all the different card reshufflings in Royal Rumble history.
