Our twin engine go kart is a monstrosity! We mated two built Honda clone engines to a 5 speed 4 wheeler transmission with reverse, high/low, and 4WD, and it vibrates so badly that we can't keep it running! The original engine/transmission was balanced to minimize vibration, and when we cut the jug and rod out of the crankshaft and then mounted two Honda clones on the transmission, it became a huge mess of vibration. This go kart throws set screws, keys, master links, and chains like nobody's business.
