2021 has been a wild year to say the least. The Squamish 50/50 is hosted every August. However this year the race was pushed back to October. As the weekend approached so did the weather warnings for "Atmospheric River" conditions. That is exactly what it felt like, non-stop rain for over 48hrs causing major runoff on the trails and turning them into rivers. Despite the extreme conditions, it didn't stop people from racing which is to be expected in trail running, especially in the PNW which happens to be a Temperate Rain Forest " If you won't run in the rain you wont run at all".

Squamish50 has 3 Distances 50M (Sat), 50K (Sun), 23K and you can also run both 50M & 50KM to get a combined time.

Jenny Raced the SQ50/50 in 2019 and Crushed it!

50/50 Combined time: 16:00:33 1st Women & New! Course Record.
50 Mile time: 9:28:15, 2nd Women, 10th Overall
50 KM time: 6:32:18, 3rd women
