Where did it all go wrong for this legacy beauty brand? I followed a thread to even more threads and then I spent months making this video because I had to connect those threads. Scandal, after scandal, rivalry after bitter rivalry. I follow Charles Revson and Revlon from fledgling nail enamel brand to beauty empire, and all the friends and enemies they made along the way. You know who they are and you're probably using their products right now. So let me tell you about Dramageddons 1 and 2 circa 1950. A beauty brand battle royale!

As much as I covered in this video, I still can't call it exhaustive (I had to stop myself from going down rabbit holes so many times or this video would've been twice as long!) But I feel that it paints a picture of the ever evolving beauty landscape and how brands adapted to the times throughout the years. (like by stealing from each other 😬)
