I can't remember the last time I had straight robusta, but with its growing popularity in specialty coffee has me interested. Originally, or traditionally, robusta is used as a blend component in espresso blends with arabica beans since they produce a thicker crema, and heavier body than other coffee species. But today, we're going to see how robusta can perform as a solo act.
