Step 1: Lat pull-downs. Build up your ground strength first

Step 2: Supported pull-ups. Start getting to know the movement and how to work with your lats with help from your legs

Step 3: Jump to eccentric hold. Keep the phase as slow as you possibly can. Make your lats WORK for it. Try to connect your lats to the exercise. Keep shoulders down

Step 4: Assistant pull-ups. Your getting closer and come a long way already. Do NOT quit. This IS hard. No one said it was gonna be easy. Keep lowering phase long

Step 6: Pull-ups. Keep shoulders down. Lifting straps can be really beneficial here! Iβve been doing these for many years and they are still demolishing me.
