Having visited Islamabad a few times before this trip, I was really excited to have my first ever chance to leave the city and explore the beauty that lies above and beyond the capital. Previously, we weren't allowed to leave the city's 'red zone' but this restriction has now been lifted. So i found a driver and off we set, stopping briefly in Rawalpindi before heading upwards and eatwards towards the beautiful Galyat range.
