Having departed the Andes, Chad and Rose embark on a journey through the famous "Quebrada de las Conchas" (Shells' Ravine) before riding to Northern Argentina's most beautiful city, Salta.

Multiple road closures force them to detour up the remote Lerma Valley, back to Ruta-40. From there, a quick detour south takes them back above 4.500 meters / 16,000 ft along the highest-altitude road in the Americas, and the highest pass, outside of the Himalaya: Abra del Acay.
