Today, I'm sharing with you my authentic and super easy 5-ingredient carbonara recipe that will be ready in just 20 minutes. This is a classic Italian dish that my Grandma used to make all the time when I was growing up. It has only 5 basic ingredients you likely already have at home — spaghetti pasta, bacon or Guanciale, eggs, Pecorino cheese, and black pepper. I'll walk you through each step in real time as I cook, including lots of close-up shots and sounds to create a relaxing ASMR cooking experience. Buon appetito! Let's get cooking.

INGREDIENTS🔻 (4 servings):
• 320 g spaghetti (11¼ oz)
• 150 g Guanciale or bacon, cut into 1/2 cm thick slices, skinless (5¼ oz)
• 50 g grated Romano Pecorino cheese (1¾ oz or about 1/2 cup)
• 6 egg yolks
• Freshly ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS🔻:
Bring water to boil in a pot and add salt once boiling.
Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions, draining it a minute before it's al dente.
Meanwhile, cook the guanciale in a skillet over low heat until slightly crispy.
Combine the egg yolks and cheese in a bowl, adding some of the cooking water to make it creamy.
Toss the drained spaghetti with the guanciale in the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
Add the egg mixture to the spaghetti and mix well to coat.
Serve immediately with freshly ground black pepper.
