In the city of Hyosan, during you average school day an infection brought on by the experiements of a desperate father to get his son to stand up to the other students of the school. Experimenting with rodents and then bringing them to the school. As one girl finds the rodent and is bitten, the release of the Jonas Virus has officially begun. Spreading through school quickly and eventually moving beyond the school grounds, eventually the whole city is infected as it begins marching towards other cities.
