Hey guys, welcome back. And in today's video, I'm going to be reviewing home chef, which is a meal kit delivery service that offers a variety of meals for customers to cook at home. Now for someone who enjoys dining out and trying new food, I was really eager to test this product. And in this review, I'll be talking about the ordering process, quality of ingredients, my cooking experience, and what I liked and disliked and who I recommend it to. Now signing up to home chef was easy. Additionally, you have tons of recipe options to choose from. For example, you have vegetarian options, carb conscious recipes quick and easy ones which are under 30 minutes a recipe and also low calorie options. Also, all the contents in the bag are clearly labeled, which is really helpful for novice cooks, as it allows them to easily identify each ingredient without any confusion or the need for any research. Now speaking of ingredients, if you're a picky eater like I am, you can switch the protein options on some of the meals depending on your preference. I personally got the cheddar jalapeno burger and chose to switch out the pork patty with a beef one because I don't like pork that much. Also, everything looks fresh at first sight. They also provide all the necessary nutritional information which is useful for people who monitor their calorie intake, the spiciness level preparation, difficulty and cooking time for each meal. Because they're all precise and dependable, I was able to prepare my cranberry glaze stick including cleanup within about 25 minutes, which was an accurate reflection of the meals prep time. And each recipe comes with a freshness window box indicating the number of days the food can be stored in the fridge before it starts to spoil. Now keep in mind I'm very comfortable around the kitchen as I've been cooking for a long time, so I didn't find any of the recipes that I ordered challenging. However, if you're low on time and you just want something easy and fast to cook home chef provides meals that needed less than 20 minutes to prepare and are still really really delicious. Now you may be curious about the taste, and I can guarantee that the meals are as delicious if not more so than those served at high quality restaurants even though some of the meals were lacking in in creativity as they felt like any meal I usually prepare at home. However, I really love the cranberry glaze stick as I have never tasted this one before. Since I usually season my steak with salt and pepper only, but felt a little adventurous with this one. And I did not regret it at all in that the asparagus were really crunchy and the mashed potatoes had a creamy and smooth texture without any lumps, and the steak had a tender juicy texture as well. However, when I wanted to upgrade my meal portions, I had some trouble at first, but their customer service was very helpful and friendly and assisting me now you might find contacting customer support can be a drawback, it becomes easier to understand the process with experiences you order more and more from the site over time. The benefit is that you'll receive the convenience of having all the necessary ingredients delivered to your home, especially if you're unable to find certain unique ingredients that might not be conventionally available in the stores usually go to additionally, home chef is designed to be accessible for those new to cooking, providing an opportunity to learn and develop your skills with a wide range of recipes, which for me personally made the investment worthwhile. The convenience that home chef offers is too good to pass on. Nevertheless, home chef offers a variety of delicious recipes that would appeal to most people. So yeah, if you're a beginner at cooking and don't know where to start, or if you're looking for simple easy to make meals then I do highly recommend home chef as an excellent option to consider and that's gonna be it for today's video.
