I've had this channel for almost 5 years now, and I've finally brought a Volkswagen to the forefront! This beautiful 1993 Corrado finished in OEM Dark Burgundy Pearl (C3U) belongs to my friend Blair, he's a triple OG in the VAG community. I'm honored to have the pleasure of working on this Corrado. First order of business was removing the window tint; most people would disagree and make the point that window tint provides privacy and helps protect the integrity of the interior but, to "purists" like Blair and I, these cars look best with their windows in the OEM 'nude' form. Truly, nothing beats a clean glasshouse.

Now, when it came to removing the 20+ year old paint protection film, I ran into some issues! Unfortunately, the paint underneath delaminated and latched onto the underside of the film. So, this video will be broke up into 2 parts, when I get the car back in the shop in a couple months after the front end gets repainted, we'll pick back up where I left off and continue on with the paint correction!
