Scoot content! I always have a few people in the comments asking about all the scooters in the background of my videos, so I figured I'd document working on my favorite one out of the bunch, my 2001 Pearl Rio Yellow Elite! This was my very first scooter, and it's coincidentally always been the roughest one out of the group. I bought it a little over two years ago and it was wrecked, didn't run, didn't have an exhaust, spark plug hole was stripped out of the head, handle bars were bent, wheels were bent, and tons of things were either missing or broken!

June of 2021, I unknowingly took the bike out for its' last ride ever on the original engine, and it never ran again. At the time, I was too fed up with throwing my money and time at it, so I bought a 1986 Sashta White Elite to replace it. One year later, I acquired this 2004 Gloss black Elite in a trade deal that had a great engine and a handful of really good condition OEM parts on it, but a bent frame! So, I stripped both bikes down and installed all of the good parts that my precious yellow needed to get it running and looking better than it ever has before!

I'm so over the moon to have my yellow back on the road, because this time last year, I was convinced I was going to part it out and send it to the scrap yard; what a turn of events this has been!!

I hope you all enjoy the video and let me know if you'd like to see more scooter content on the channel because filming this type of stuff is actually really fun for me!
Until next time, Cheers.
-Aidan.
