Having 'aphantasia' means that someone is unable to see visuals in their mind's eye, but with this meditation we can see how incredibly effective it is to just use bodily feelings and sensations rather than visuals for our astral projection practice - this meditation is 100% aphantasia-friendly!

I've personally always found tactile/bodily-sensation techniques to be far more powerful than visual ones anyway for astral projection, even though I can visualise vividly. So this journey is for everyone, but has been really made with love for (and inspired by) Jess Stella who has been an incredible support for this body of work as a top-tier Patreon. This meditation will help us to activate our astral body in order to access the astral plane. However we can also use this meditation to experience lucid dreaming, vivid dreams or just healing sleep... it all depends on our intention. A specifically reality shifting version of this meditation is also available.

The Astral Realm is a very mysterious place and is not understood at all by mainstream science. However in metaphysical wisdom it is widely regarded as a spiritual plane, which is why itā€™s very important to approach it with reverence and respect. This meditation includes a section on calling in and connecting with our divine allies - our higher self, angels & spirit guides - to guide and protect us as we travel through these spiritual realms.

During this meditation we will also be calming and focusing our mind, activating our astral body with chakra breath work, affirming our intentions, and then practising a series of astral aerobics exercises to activate our energy body and transfer our awareness out of our physical form and into our astral body of divine light.

The essential practice of this meditation is focused awareness, which means to hold our attention in one place for an extended period of time. This takes practice, but our mind is like a muscle that can be trained and will respond quickly to our meditation practice if we are dedicated. If you think of your awareness as sunlight and your mind as the lens of a magnifying glass, you can imagine how when you focus the light of your sun/awareness into one place and hold it there then it becomes incredibly powerful, like a laser beam.

During this meditation we can practice and advance this skill by focusing our pure awareness as closely and as clearly as we can on the sensations of our breath moving through our energy body. Itā€™s important to be disciplined with your mind during this meditation. FEEL the sensations within your body as clearly as you can. ZOOM IN with the magnifying lens of your mind to get as close to these feelings as you can, to amplify them and to experience them as richly as you can with your pure and undivided attention. And as your mind wanders off into thoughts and plans, just keep bringing it back to this task, again and again.

This meditation works accumulatively with continued repetition and practice. For best results also practice daytime mindfulness and regular reality checks through out the day, and be sure to journal all of your dreams and astral experiences.

This is an ā€˜astral aerobicsā€™ style meditation in which we visualise and imagine the feelings and sensations of our astral body performing various exercises in order to shift our awareness into our astral body as a vehicle of consciousness. While you practice the astral aerobics exercises be sure to keep your physical body completely still and relaxed. If you find it difficult to experience the feelings of the exercises just relax and keep trying - it takes practice that is all and will improve over time.

Also, feel free to be playful and adapt the exercises to suit your mood, you donā€™t need to follow my instructions exactly, the point is simply to get your astral body moving, so experiment with different movements and exercises yourself.
