Expectation and disappointment track together, and when life doesn't turn out the way we expected it to, this can bring a very real kind of grief. Like any other kind of grief, we can help our clients overcome the feeling of loss caused by life's unexpected turns.
I talk more about how to help our clients deal with the grief and the feeling of loss that comes when life doesn't go as expected, and I offer some insight on how to see the challenges we face in a different light.
